This review is long overdue since I always come here for my coffee and pastry fix after having pho at this shopping center. I am absolutely obsessed with their Sea Salt Iced Coffee. The medium sized coffee is the right amount to keep me going throughout the day. I tried the large coffee once and it was little too much caffeine for me.
I can say that I've tried many of their pastry items, but the one that I always keep going back to is the 85°C Egg Tart. All the other pastries have also been good, but my favorite will always be the egg tart. I usually always come here at all hours and I've never had to wait in any long lines. The cashiers are usually quick and friendly. It's always a great choice if you want quality pastries on the go. -

I'm a late convert to 85 Degree Bakery Cafe, but I'm a thorough one.
This Taiwanese import has consistently high quality baked goods, a nice selection of drinks, friendly employees, and clean tables and an open atmosphere.
It's pretty much a one stop shop for a quick meal, a great alternative to grabbing a box of donuts for the office, and a fantastic way to try something new.
What do i recommend? My family always gets:
Sea salt butter bread
Ham and cheese croissant
Spinach kale danish
Garlic bread
The rolled sponge cakes will have you marvelling over how fine the cake texture is while you're trying to slow down how fast you're eating it. This is art that deserves to be savored.
The milk buns are sweet, soft dreams of a desert bread, with a variety of beautifully-crafted fillings.
During the Autumn festival, they've got moon cakes that are just works of art... almost too pretty to eat. Almost.
Their drink menu is solid... not really imaginative, but good in both variety and quality. If you're feeling shy, you can even order a drink at the separate kiosk, which is nice if you want to fiddle with ice and sweetness levels, or if you get nervous talking to people. I'm addicted to their sea salt mountain green tea... It's got a lovely flavor, and the sea salt cream is mild, pairing well with the astringent tea.
Basically, 85-Degree Bakery is a great place to hang out, nosh on something tasty, and have a good time. -

I came across this place after attending a chamber of Commerce event in cerritos.
This place is literally right off the 605 and where the 605/91 meet near the cerritos mall.
FREE parking everywhere
When you first arrive you will feel like you have walked into what's a coffee shop and a bakery
Or as I like to call it the starbucks of Taiwan.
This place absolutely have it all from premium drinks such smoothies, coffee, bread, and cake at affordable prices. Thus the 85°C Bakery Cafe journey begins... from when you first walk in you will get this feeling as if have entered another world.. the light in this business establishment is absolutely perfect the customers service is phenomenal what mr. Cheng-Hsueh Wu has done with 85 is just what business is about offering top notch quality 5 star desserts into something anyone can enjoy.. -

I came here on a Monday night to get my favorite item, taro buns. I wish they would open an 85 Degrees bakery in NYC. This location is particularly large with a large selection of bakery items and cakes. They have two cases for taro buns which was what I was looking for since I needed to buy at least 8 large taro buns to bring home. There's a lot of taro in each taro bun and less than $2 each so it's a good deal. They also have great drinks. I usually get the taro latte or the sea salt coffee. The staff here were very nice and helpful. I would come back to this location next time I'm in California to get my taro buns.

Only location I know that keeps their cases nicely stocked after 5pm...every other location sells out and refuses to stock items for evening crowd. The place is packed and still there are lots to buy.
